  1. Using a food processor, place the basil or herbs in the bottom and top with the garlic, parmesan, and walnuts.
  2. Whisk until a thick egg forms, stirring gently until the olive oil is hot. (Season with balsamic vinegar, salt and pepper.)
  3. To serve with pasta, place the ham in a bowl with 2 tablespoons of butter. Add fresh pasta and cook until butter melts, adding pasta water if too thick.
